Booking Terms

No live reservations are currently taken through this website. Availability and rates shown are sample data. These terms are published so they can be reviewed ahead of our first hotel opening.

Rates are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. What is included — such as breakfast or a dining credit — is shown with the rate before you confirm.

The rate you book determines its conditions. Flexible rates cost more and allow changes; discounted and non-refundable rates are cheaper and more restricted.

A valid card is required to hold a reservation. Depending on the rate, we may take a deposit or charge the full amount at the time of booking. Any pre-authorisation or incidentals hold will be disclosed before you confirm.

Flexible rates can generally be changed or cancelled up to a stated time before arrival without charge. Non-refundable rates cannot be refunded, though we will always try to help where circumstances are exceptional.

Failure to arrive without notice may result in a charge equal to the first night or the full stay, depending on the rate booked.

Check-in is typically from 2:00 PM and check-out by 10:00 AM, unless the hotel states otherwise. Check-in usually takes place at the bar or reception downstairs — tell us if you are arriving late and we will make arrangements.

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. Photo identification may be requested on arrival.

Our rooms sit above operating pubs. Some noise from the venue is part of the experience, particularly on live music nights, which are listed publicly. Quieter rooms can usually be requested and we will do our best to accommodate.

Bookings of multiple rooms, functions and event packages may be subject to separate deposit, minimum spend and cancellation terms, which will be provided in writing.

All rooms are non-smoking. Guests are responsible for damage or additional cleaning caused during their stay. Pets are only permitted where a hotel lists pet-friendly rooms.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If something is not right with your stay, tell the team on site so we can fix it, or contact us at hello@neighbourhoodhotels.com.au.
