Who we are
Neighbourhood Hotels operates accommodation above hospitality venues in Australia as part of Neighbourhood Venue Co.. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and our venues.
This website is currently a brand and preview experience. No live reservations are taken and no payment information is collected through it.
What we collect
We only collect information we actually need to respond to you or to provide a stay.
- Contact details you give us — name, email address and phone number.
- Enquiry details, including the hotel, dates and any requests or accessibility needs you tell us about.
- Marketing preferences, where you have opted in to hear from us.
- Basic technical and analytics data such as pages visited, used in aggregate to improve the site.
How we use it
We use your information to answer enquiries, manage stays and functions, and — where you have consented — to send offers, events and local recommendations. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email.
We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information with service providers who help us operate, such as our reservation system, email platform and hosting provider. They are only permitted to use it to provide services to us.
Where a stay relates to a specific hotel, your details are shared with that hotel’s team so they can look after you.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used and to keep it working. You can block cookies in your browser settings; core parts of the site will still function.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it or as the law requires.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or make a privacy complaint by emailing hello@neighbourhoodhotels.com.au. We aim to respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our hotels open and our systems change. The current version will always be published on this page with its last updated date.
